Standard First Aid
This First Aid course is typically required by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) under Section 1101 of the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act. This course is designed to a high standard.
WSIB requirement
Takes a minimum of 13 hours of teaching time
Includes CPR (level determined by customer’s requirement)
Covers life threatening and non-life threatening emergencies such as cardiac arrest, choking, shock, major bleeding, patient assessment, medical and trauma emergencies

Emergency First Aid
An abbreviated course covering the life threatening emergencies components of Standard First Aid. This includes CPR, shock treatment, major bleeding treatment and patient assessment
CPR 1 year certification course
Hands on experience is very important for CPR training. Vital Link provides manikins to all participants in CPR courses. These are an essential classroom tool. We offer a variety of courses, custom tailored for specific situations and needs.
Adult “Lay Rescuer”
A shortened course for situations where there is an adult only workplace.
Adult/Child/Infant
A course for those who need to learn CPR for all ages.
Professional “Targeted Responder”
This program is designed for professional rescuers and medical personnel, covering the full spectrum of techniques required for effective emergency cardiac care.
CPR A:
Training that qualifies the participant to provide CPR to an adult
Training in techniques to alleviate adult choking (conscious and unconscious)
Training in 2 Rescuer CPR
CPR B
The most commonly requested CPR course
Training that qualifies the participant to provide CPR to an adult
