to prepare citizens as the first link in a medical emergency.

• Possess a current WSIB approved Standard First Aid certification card
• Have some group facilitation experience
• The Standard First Aid / CPR instructor course takes a weekend to complete
Note: For those with a current First-Aid Instructor certificate the new trainer orientation process is shorter.

• There is a fee to become a trainer. The First Aid / CPR Instructor course costs $300.00 + taxes.
• This includes your initial first-aid and CPR certification requirements, Instructor manual, support materials,
outlines, and your trainer program and certification. This is a one-time fee.

• Saturday March 15, 2008 from 9 - 4:30 p.m. Train the trainer course, "how to teach adults, "the tricks", practice small group teaching, work on assignment, etc.
• Sunday March 16, 2008 from 9 - 4:30 p.m. Compete train the trainer course, demonstrate your assignment, complete instructor test, etc.
The course is limited to a very small class, so first come first serve, don't delay....
May 30 - June 1, 2008
